Full Time Days 8a-5p
Watertown, New York
Every 4th weekend. And on rotation with all the providers for overnight call
You will report to the Director.
FOR THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE:
This person will have opportunity to work to develop a clinical practice for high risk screening and long term follow up/survivorship clinic.
The other opportunity is to see patients prior to chemo and drop in patients to keep them out of the ED
For those without experience they will rotate with all 3 docs to train and then get an assignment
Every practitioner at the time of appointment and continuously thereafter, must demonstrate clinical competence to the satisfaction of the medical staff and the board of the hospital in which privileges are sought.
Visual and auditory acuity with or without adaptive devices.
Ability to organize personal work and maintain patient flow
Ability to give sound guidance and direction to others involved in care of cancer patients.
Ability to work independently and autonomously.
Ability to make good decisions.
Critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly.
Follows NCCN clinical practice guidelines.
Commitment to update skills constantly and proficient use of resources.
Desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member.
Good interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills required.
